GROW THROUGH WHAT YOU GO THROUGH

Life is just like a roller coaster ride filled with ups and downs and it is up to us whether to withdraw from it or amuse ourselves. It is totally in our hands how we let our life experiences mould us.

Family problems, breakups with loved ones, loss of a pet - you name it, we all go through some or the other problems. Life without trials and tribulations just doesn’t exist. Struggle is inevitable. There have been times where we just wanted to drop off the face of the Earth. But then we did not get disheartened. It is never about getting knocked down but about getting up. Things are not always going to happen the way you have planned, the key is to figure out how to move ahead.

Let me share a few examples with you.

Steve Jobs: He started making computers with his friend in his garage. Now we can see where the brand Apple stands. When Apple wasn’t making money as his inventions failed, he took the blow and moved out. But soon things changed and then he joined Apple as a CEO. A clear example of growing through his life experience.

Dhirubhai Ambani, the son of a school teacher from a village in Gujarat, worked as a clerk in a trading CO. After facing multiple challenges, he started his own textile trading company. His vision has brought him this far. See where Reliance stands now. What we learn here is that he grew through what he went through.

Reading about all these wonderful people has always encouraged us. Sometimes we have to let go and let God redirect us, and during this transition, we discover the 3 P’s -PURPOSE, PEOPLE, AND POWER.

In the end, I would like to quote in the words of Winston Churchill- “Success is not final, failure is not fatal.”

It is the courage to continue that counts.

So never give up!
