Health and Fitness in these Busy Times!

It is said that ‘‘Health is a state of the body, wellness is a state of being’’.

Regular exercise and physical activity improve our overall health and make us feel good about ourselves. Being healthy is not about having time; it is about making time. Having a healthy lifestyle is essential, as it helps reduce stress and limits your desire for addictive substances. According to Mr.Levendusky, those who struggle with time management are more likely to experience stress, sleep, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. We should start controlling our time by setting smart goals and using Pomodoro to enhance our lifestyle. Lifestyles learned in childhood are most likely to stay with the person in adulthood too, which is why we should make sure that this generation’s teenagers have a healthy lifestyle. It is essential to motivate teenagers to maintain a healthy weight, get enough sleep, and be physically active.


Nowadays, eating healthy food and being physically fit is not enough; we should also consider taking care of our mental, emotional and behavioral health. We should learn ways to manage our stress, develop a good balance between school/work and social life, pay attention to our moods and feelings, not be afraid or ashamed to ask for help, and accept ourselves for who we are.We must realize that ‘‘being healthy and fit is not a fad or a trend; it is a lifestyle’’. Strict diets yield extreme consequences that might not be very pleasing; they can help move the needle down your scale but likely cause health issues. Diet plans are primarily not meant for teenagers.



Everyone should eat all kinds of foods at a limit instead of depriving themselves of certain kinds of nutrients. I realize it is a slow process, but quitting will not speed it up. Day by day, the competition to be fit and healthy becomes challenging if you do not know how to get some time for yourself out of your busy schedule. The only way you can achieve this goal of becoming healthy and fit in these busy times is by prioritizing yourself, ditching bad habits, finding ways to exercise, relieve stress, and having a hygienic environment at all times. ‘‘You do not have to be extreme, just consistent’’.
