Life today is something quite fast, hence it becomes difficult to cope up. Sometimes people feel so stressed that it is hard to do each task perfectly. These are the times when we need to keep our calm and focus. We need to be positive and learn to enjoy the task at hand.
One of the most important reasons why we should be at peace is because it helps in reducing risk of heart conditions. It assists in building up a healthy nervous system. Having self-control maintains the blood pressure and prevents factors that may cause risk to the heart. Stress hormones, known as Cortisol, largely contribute to ageing. The more hormones that are released, the more aged you would seem.
Staying serene can also aid in providing you with a good night's sleep, which boosts your energy level and concentration. This in turn improves our performance in daily tasks and helps us stay positive. Thus, enhancing your creativity.
However, it is easier said than done. It is crucial to practise what you preach. Having self-control is not as easy as thought to be. It takes great effort to stay calm and collected. One of the simplest and most efficient ways of following this is living a healthy life.
Relaxing your muscles, having at least 20 mins of physical exercise daily, going easy on yourself and eating healthy are some of the very basic methods of having a healthy life. It is necessary to take time for hobbies like reading, drawing, doing puzzles, watching a movie and listening to music. Talking about your worries and doubts to your friends, parents, siblings or a teacher will assist in easing you.
There are also times when the negative thoughts overcome you and it is difficult to eliminate them from your mind. These thoughts are damaging and we must get rid of them.

Try planning for something fun; an activity that gives you joy and inner peace.
Practising an attitude of gratitude always helps. Thinking of how much everyone has done for you and how much you have done for them can never fail to bring a smile to your face. Just thinking about the brightness you have added in their life by being there is more than enough to increase self-worth and make you feel ecstatic.
Life is not just about finishing one task and going on to the next. Life gives us only one chance. Each day comes only once, which is why it is important to hunt for that happiness in daily life.
