SCHOOL LIFE:THE MEMORIES OF AN AVMite

The sound of the bell ringing, students screaming as they rush to the canteen, students pleading with their teachers for an extra PT period, practising for class assemblies fill me up with happiness and sorrow at the same time. Standing at the threshold of leaving school, we realize that school life is one of the best parts of growing up, you have fun, make friends who will stand by you forever, study, learn about numerous things, prepare yourself for the future and make unforgettable memories that you will cherish throughout your life.

The excitement in solving the math sum first, cheering for the house teams during inter-house competitions, gearing up for the football season, eagerly waiting to get the circular regarding the trip, the trip itself, meeting friends during the breaks, practising for sports day, enjoying the victorious moments, playing games like pen fight, odd or even, charades in class, running around like little kids in the corridors, rushing down to the canteen on Fridays are some of the moments, that lets school life have a special place in our hearts and fill us up with nostalgia whenever you reminiscence about those good old days.

Stretching the playtime at break till we were chased away, dozing off during a lesson, sitting at the back and secretly eating, only to realize that the teacher already knows what you were up to… Sorry teachers, we can’t help but smile when we think of these mischievous moments. Your scolding and steps are taken to correct us have helped us become who we are today and we could never thank you enough for whatever you have done for us. Your voice and words will reverberate in our ears for years to come and all of us will remember you forever.

It is inevitable that all good things come to an end and change is the only constant in life, we feel blessed that we have been a part of AVM. AVMite once, AVMite forever!
