Technology around the world is rapidly increasing. Due to the subtle changes in technology, our life has become trouble-free, uncomplicated, and straightforward. Now technology can be seen almost everywhere, even in small and remote villages.
People are able to communicate with anyone at any time, no matter if they are stuck in the middle of the ocean a thousand miles away. Growth of technology has enabled different features in digital devices, such as one can always message his friends or relatives with privacy. If there is an emergency, an ambulance or maybe a fire engine can be summoned in the snap of a button. We are able to order food, using different apps such as Swiggy and Zomato, to our homes at any hour of the day or night. We can also order clothes and toys online on websites like Amazon and Flipkart. These types of websites have also enabled us to buy groceries and household items online.
Apps on mobile phones are so advanced that now we can also book our movie tickets or even book a flight while chilling at home. A fun fact about the Motorola brand of mobile phones is that it produced the first ever handheld phone.
Nowadays technology is so advanced that by scanning QR codes, money can be transferred easily from one bank account to another. This is why QR codes have become so popular and are found at restaurants, grocery shops, malls, theatres and are used by everyone.
Some old rules like that of ‘bank transfers can be done from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon’ have been taken out of use, as with the help of technology, we can transfer and pay money to anyone anytime we want.
Technology has made finding kidnapped people much easier. This is so because by just attaching a GPS tracker to a mobile phone, we can get its current location even though the mobile phone is dead.
The list is endless but the chief question is, at what cost?
